Ferrodep Lipo Capsules

Ingredients:
Each capsule contains:
Liposomal (Microencapsulated) pyrophosphate iron, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 , Vitamin B2, Vitamin B12, Quatre folate, Zinc, Iodine, Copper and others.

Properties:

Liposomal (microencapsulated) pyrophosphate iron: The microencapsulated liposomal form ensures higher bioavailability and gastrointestinal tolerability compared to conventional iron salts. This formulation bypasses gastric irritation and is absorbed gradually in the small intestine, minimizing side effects such as heaviness or discomfort.
Iron is an essential component of hemoglobin and myoglobin, enabling effective oxygen transport and storage in tissues.
Supplementation is particularly valuable during growth, pregnancy, lactation, and in cases of iron deficiency or increased physiological demand.
Quatrefolic® (active folate): A biologically active and highly bioavailable form of folate that does not require enzymatic conversion to exert its effects. Contributes to the reduction of homocysteine levels, supports amino acid metabolism, and plays a critical role in cell division and neural tube defect prevention during pregnancy.
Vitamin C: Enhances intestinal absorption, transport, and storage of iron, by facilitating its reduction to the ferrous form. Stimulates ferritin synthesis and provides additional antioxidant protection.
Vitamins B2 (riboflavin) and B6 (pyridoxine): Support protein and neurotransmitter synthesis, prostaglandin metabolism, and red blood cell maturation. Contribute to immune system regulation, iron utilization, and energy metabolism.
Vitamin B12 (cobalamin): Essential for DNA synthesis, neurological function, and erythropoiesis. Contributes to the maintenance of bone health, muscle function, and immune competence.
Zinc: Acts as a potent antioxidant and immune modulator. Fundamental for cell proliferation, fetal development, and proper cell division.
Copper: Plays a central role in iron metabolism and red blood cell formation. Supports normal immune defense and connective tissue integrity.
Iodine: Required for thyroid hormone synthesis, which regulates growth, development, and metabolic activity. Contributes to normal neurological and cognitive development, particularly during pregnancy and early childhood.

Indications:

Prevention and treatment of iron deficiency and iron-deficiency anemia.

Support during pregnancy, lactation, and periods of rapid growth.

Nutritional support in conditions of increased metabolic demand (e.g., intense physical activity, chronic illness, convalescence).

Contribution to the maintenance of normal hematological status, immune function, and energy metabolism.
