F.D FORTE oral drop

Ingredients:
Vitamin D3, Folic acid and others.

Indications:
Supplementation with Vitamin D₃ (400 IU per 0.5 ml) and Folic Acid (50 µg per 0.5 ml) is recommended in the following clinical situations:

Preterm and low birth weight infants: to support bone mineralization, erythropoiesis, and general growth.
Anemia of prematurity: adjunctive supplementation to improve red blood cell production and folate-dependent hematopoiesis.
Metabolic bone disease of prematurity / neonatal osteopenia: including cases with or without rickets or fractures.
Infants born to Vitamin D–deficient mothers (particularly small-for-gestational-age [SGA] or preterm neonates): to correct neonatal vitamin D insufficiency.
Neonatal hypoglycemia with impaired vitamin D metabolism: supportive role in metabolic stabilization.
Recurrent or prolonged infections in SGA and preterm infants: to enhance immune function and reduce susceptibility.
Infants with lactose intolerance or metabolic disorders: as an alternative source of vitamin D and folate when dietary intake is insufficient.
