Properties:
Cysticran® 40 (Cranberry extract, proanthocyanidins):
Provides anti-adhesive activity against uropathogenic Escherichia coli, preventing bacterial attachment to the uroepithelium. Exhibits antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, contributing to urinary tract health and recurrence prevention.
D-Mannose:
A naturally occurring monosaccharide that competitively inhibits bacterial adhesion to urothelial cells by binding fimbriae of E. coli, thereby facilitating bacterial clearance through urination. Considered safe for long-term use in recurrent urinary tract infection prophylaxis.
Magnesium:
Contributes to electrolyte balance, neuromuscular function, and overall metabolic activity. Plays a supportive role in reducing inflammation and maintaining general health during infection or stress.
Zinc:
A trace element with critical roles in immune modulation, wound healing, and mucosal barrier integrity. Demonstrates antioxidant properties and helps regulate inflammatory responses, thereby enhancing host defense against infections.
Vitamin D₃:
